The Capital City Fury bounced back from a two game losing skid to defeat the Golden State Giants 48-14 on the road in San Francisco Saturday afternoon. After being blanked at home 31-0 by the undefeated North Bay Rattlers, the Fury found a remedy in throttling the Giants. The Fury racked up 48 points on offense and held Golden State to two touchdowns. With the victory Capital City improves to 4-3 whilst the Giants fall to 0-7.

The Fury will travel to Richmond to face the War Angels on May 10th. Richmond is 5-2 and is coming off a bye. This will be another test for the Fury who will need build off of the Giants win and bring that momentum into Saturday evening's game. The War Angels are lead by PCFL's top rated QB Greg Parker who will battle against the Fury's Logan Hollis who is ranked second in the League in passing yardage. The keys to a victory are shutting down Parker, stifling the War Angels on both sides of the ball and kickstarting the Fury's high powered offense.

Capital City will be back home on May 17th hosting the visiting Solano Chiefs and for more information about that game please visit and to learn about the Pacific Coast Football League.
