Cape Cod nudist camp sets open house, seeks to break skinny dip record

Sandy Terraces Associates' Nudist Campground in Marstons Mills on Cape Cod has built a beautiful new swimming pool, and will celebrate with an open house on July 10 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Food and beverages will be served around lunchtime.

At 3 p.m. there will be an attempt to break the world's record of 13,648 people simultaneously skinny dipping across North America.

In continuous operation since the 1950s, Sandy Terraces is a cooperative association of people who value the beauty of nature and a free, natural lifestyle. Members and visitors swim, canoe, sunbathe, or meditate by the spring-fed lake. On Saturday nights planned or impromptu dinners and group activities are hosted at the pavilion. The campground welcomes couples and accepts singles on a quota basis. Campsites have electricity, water, and picnic tables. There is a dump station for RVs.

Sandy Terraces' FAQ provides helpful information to those who are new to nudist camping. Sandy Terraces is a member of the American Association for Nude Recreation and the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce.
