Capcom trying to make up for Resident Evil 6 flop

Resident Evil 6 was not that great of a game. It had it's moments, but ultimately it was a long, drawn out, and over the top interactive action movie. No matter what your individual opinion on that game was, the overall consensus was not welcoming. Last year at this time, Capcom released Resident Evil: Revelations on 3DS. This game was an excellent title (as I reviewed the title here http://www.examiner.com/review/resident-evil-revelations-review) as it received my 3DS GOTY for 2012. I had personally perceived that this title would have a setup much like RE6, as it involved different characters, too. If something is working, why fix what's not broke?

Well, partly because they fixed what's not broke, Capcom is going back to rectify it. Sort of. Rather this was in the plans before the release of RE6 or not, Resident Evil: Revelations will be ported over to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and the U. Capcom has always had a strange tie-in with other systems involving the Resident Evil series. It started with Code Veronica only available on the Dreamcast, and then 4 was only on the Gamecube, initially. Revelations was going down that same road, until they decided to port it today. Sure, the others got ported, but it took years. Everyone needs to experience this game. You can watch the launch release trailer on this page.
