Many Playstation 3 fans were upset when Capcom announced that Monster Hunter 3 became a Nintendo Wii exclusive game in 2007. However, that doesn’t mean that Capcom is closing the door completely on the popular RPG series on the Playstation 3.
Shawn Baxter, the Community Specialist for Capcom, recently posted the following response when asked of the possibility of Monster Hunter appearing on the Playstation 3:
“Right now we’re not working on one. But, who knows what the future holds. As you’ve seen in the news, we never say ‘never’ here at Capcom.”
Capcom is known for porting their games from one system to another no matter how absurd it was to do so (Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop on the Nintendo Wii, for example). So a Monster Hunter 3 port to the Playstation 3 isn’t completely out of the question. Nor is a completely new game due the success of the series on Playstation platforms.

They should release it on the 360, XBL would be essential for this game!!
Plus its probably easier to port this game from Wii -> X360 than Wii -> PS3!

loved MH1 in PS2, MHP2 was great too. MH on PS3 would be amazing.
I miss playing Monster Hunter with other people online. Although I own and enjoy MHFreedom and MHFreedom2 for PSP, I personally don't enjoy playing on a portable as much as on my TV/Console and having to use Xlink-Kai to get online is a royal pain. Maybe port MHF2 or MHUnite (I will be getting Unite when it comes out) to the PS3? I would settle for that but to have MH3 on the PS3. Wow...
who cares ! we have llllllost planet 2 for x360 and ps3 LOOKS MUCH better than Monster Hunter !!

Monster Hunter originated on the Playstation console, and found its HUGE success via Sony's PSP, so why the heck would Capcom turn its back on its fanbase to make some tripe for the 360. If MH3 is going anywhere, it's going to the Playstation 3.
If anything they should put it on ps3 or PC not the Wii, putting it on bluray garantees there would be more space to create a well thought out game, its a real let down they totally screwed Sony which gave them the success in the first place.
well they originally started it as a PS3 exclusive, then jumped back to the Wii instead(which I think to be BS) and since they started it on the PS3 I'm fairly sure they will deliver it to us, and XBL is not essential for it, it would do perfectly fine with out it. Plus Xbox screwed PS3 out of Dead or Alive 4, and Devil May Cry 4 being an exclusive like it should be so we should get to screw you guys out a of a good game too!
i wish that MH would come out for the ps3 not xbox besides capcom has more success in sony than xbox i think ps3 should get it first
