It is hard to believe but St. Patrick’s Day is a little over 3 weeks away. Get into the holiday spirit, or recover from holiday spirits, by participating in the St. Paddy’s 5k or 8k Run/ Walk.

Taking place on Sunday, March 18th, this event is a great way to cap off the holiday weekend. This run/ walk begins at 10am, in Chicago’s Lincoln Park. All fitness levels are encouraged to participate and wear green.

In addition to being an event for all fitness levels, it is a family friendly. In addition to the 5k or8k run/ walk, there will be a Leprechaun Leap, a dash for the kids.

For more information about this event, including how to register, please click here.

Keep in mind that even though we are there to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, the Special Olympics of Chicago and the Irish American Heritage Center are beneficiaries of this event.

Registration is limited, so support these two great organizations, and register today.
