Cantu Curls

Last month I received a sample of the Cantu Coconut Curling Cream. I recently used it on my son's hair and want to share it with you all!

My son is biracial- Latino and African American- and has ridiculously curly hair. His curls are fine and soft but the back of his head gets super tangled and dry! It almost feels like damaged hair but its not; it is also the side of his head he sleeps on the most.

I have been washing his hair with Carol's Daughter Minoa Oil set which I will review later on this month. This past week after I did his co-wash I used the Cantu Coconut Curling Cream after towel drying his hair.

I am impressed with how light weight the product is. I love the smell and its texture as well. It was easy to apply and helped separate his curls. Although it did help define his curls, I would not say that it necessarily helped them to last longer. Being that he is a toddler and running around constantly that could be part of the problem.

By the end of the day his curls weren't as shapely as they were originally but they were still soft and not tangled. I would like to purchase the entire line and use it on his hair over a period of time to see if there is significant change.

I would recommend this product for someone looking for a curl creme that provides moisture. Check them out at Target or your nearest Walgreens.
