Forward Frank Hassell Returns to Charge

It was announced today that the transaction made Monday by the Canton Charge and Erie BayHawks has been voided due to medical reasons with NBA Development League approval. Frank Hassell has returned to Canton’s active roster while Sharrod Ford will rejoin Erie.

The Charge had originally dealt Hassell to the BayHawks for Ford immediately after he was claimed Monday with Erie’s waiver preference position.  Hassell is currently traveling with the team to Rio Grande Valley.

Hassell has seen action in 20 games with the Charge this season (two starts) and averaged 10.1 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.0 steal and 0.6 blocks in 23.2 minutes per game.
