Canton Charge receives 2014 second round draft pick from Reno

The Canton Charge announced that they have acquired the Reno Bighorns’ 2014 second round draft choice in exchange for Tyrell Biggs. This addition gives the Charge rights to eight 2014 draft picks that includes six of their original selections (first, second, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth) as well as the Second pick of Reno’s and the third round pick they acquired from the Texas Legends.

“With the overall strength of our roster and amount of depth we have in the frontcourt, we were in a unique position to be able to add future assets for our franchise,” said Cavaliers Director of Development League Operations Mike Gansey. “Tyrell is a good person and player who was instrumental in our team’s successes during our inaugural campaign and the beginning of this season. We wish him nothing but the best going forward.”

Biggs played in three games and averaged 11.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 0.7 assists in 21.0 minutes for Canton this season.
