For the third consecutive year the Canton Charge has secured a place in the NBA Development League Playoffs. The team is owned and operated by the Cleveland Cavaliers. Tickets will be going fast as the Charge gets ready for another post season run and a shot at the NBA D-League Championship. Join your fellow Charge fans and fill up Canton Memorial Civic Center and show your support for the Canton Charge and the city of Canton.

As it stand right now, the Charge is guaranteed to host at least one game (“GAME A”) in the first round of the playoffs at the Canton Memorial Civic Center. The date and opponent are yet to be announced. “Game A” at the Civic Center is going to be a “Gold Out” event with exsclusive playoff T-shits being given away to the first 1,500 fans attending.

The announcement of playoff seeding, game dates and matchups will be made by the NBA D-League office on Sunday, April 6 after league-wide regular season games are complete Saturday night. The selection process will see the top four seeds select in order who they will play out of a pool that includes the bottom four seeds. All playoff series are best-of-three, with the lower seed hosting the first game and the higher seed hosting the second and then third game if necessary.

The Canton Charge are exclusively operated by the Cleveland Cavaliers and also owned by a group led by Cavaliers Majority Owner and Quicken Loans Founder and Chairman Dan Gilbert. The group also owns and operates the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League and the Cleveland Gladiators of the Arena Football League, both playing at Quicken Loans Arena in downtown Cleveland, Ohio.
