“How Deep is Your”
In the first exhibition surveying the last decade of Julianne Swartz’s rise in the international art world, viewers can expect to experience Swartz’s most significant large-scale installations and sculptures in a way that demands participation with a mix of “elegance, humor, and intelligence.”
“Narrow Road to the Interior: Contemporary Japanese Artists”
Channeling the ideas of pilgrimage and spiritual passage told in the 17th-century Zen Buddhist work of linked verse, Narrow Road to the Interior, seven contemporary Japanese artists reflect on the ritual and ceremony of their ancient culture through photographs, sculpture, paintings, and installations. This exhibition features works by Noriko Ambe, Hiroshi Senju, Yoshiko Shimano, Shinji Turner-Yamamoto, Masao Yamamoto, Motoi Yamamoto, and Asami Yoshiga.
The months and days are the travelers of eternity.
