Cannon Beach Yoga Festival up and running

The Cannon Beach Yoga Festival in Cannon Beach, Ore., is up and running.

Today, March 2, 1-3 p.m., Heather & Benjy Wertheimer will be teaching The Path of Kirtan workshop and leading the Kirtan & Community Dance Party from 7:30-9:30 p.m. If you don’t have a full festival pass you can still attend the kirtan and dance party for the mere price of $20.

“[The Path of Kirtan] creates a sacred space for safe and playful exploration in a group setting. Participants can then journey together to more clearly and deeply connect with the divine Presence,” state festival producers."

From 3:30–5:30 p.m. today, Annie Carpenter will be teaching SmartFLOW Yoga: Inversions: When, Why & How and on Sunday, 8:30–11:30 a.m. she will demonstrate how to use the body’s core to ease into intelligent, fun and invigorating backbends.
