If you thought the idea of taking the family out for a treat to the local candy store was a thing of the past, think again. The old fashioned candy store is alive and well in Covington, Kentucky.

In the heart of MainStrasse Village, The Candy Bar brings back the nostalgic candy store experience that many will remember from their childhood. Specializing in candy from the 1940's, 50's, and 60's, The Candy Bar offers over 250 varieties of candy and gum. The large display cases, and jars filled with candy, will bring a smile to any face anxiously awaiting the sweet candy goodness. The Candy Bar also offers customized candy, such as personalized candy bar and lollipop wrappers. If you need a sweet gift for someone special, The Candy Bar can help with their assortment of candy gift baskets.

This Saturday, July 24th, is a special occasion for The Candy Bar. From noon to 3:00 am, The Candy Bar will be celebrating their Grand Re-Opening. The new owners, Ryan and Sarah Tobergta, are committed to maintaining the same great experience that patrons of The Candy Bar have come to enjoy. Featuring balloons, face painting, giveaways, and a drawing for a candy filled gift basket, this special event will kick off a new era for this family friendly store.

Whether you are an existing customer of The Candy Bar, or just someone looking for a new, fun place to take the family, stop by The Candy Bar, this Saturday, and relive the wonderful experience that is the local candy store.
