While Candy Crush Saga Kindle Fire HD downloads are still non-existant, without a workaround, the game continues to get downloaded by the masses. The popular candy-crushing game is among the top 5, or top 3 in some instances on the high-traffic iTunes App Store and Google Play apps for Android listings.

On June 15, Tech Media Source reported that Candy Crush Saga ranks #2 at the Google Play store, and at #4 on the iTunes App Store. The game was at a high spot of #1 previously this week, but has since dropped a bit. Other top apps include popular social media apps for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and the new video-sharing service called Vine.

The popularity of Candy Crush Saga is evident as the King company has recently announced on their Twitter on June 13, "30 Million LIKES on Facebook! Thanks for playing. You guys are awesome! ..." It's apparent that more and more Facebook users are clicking over to the game they see their friends playing and getting stuck on. With that in mind, the company behind the game has a new game in progress.

The Wall Street Journal reported several days ago that the newer game called "Pet Rescue Saga" on Facebook has also hit mobile devices. In this game, players are working to save dogs, cats and birds from dangerous scenarios. With millions upon millions of pet owners and animal lovers out there posting their dogs, cats or other pets on Facebook, it won't be surprising to see this game take off for King as well.

With that in mind, it doesn't look like the King company is a 1-hit or 1-app wonder by any stretch of the imagination. The question remains as to why the company hasn't put a version of the game for the Kindle Fire HD though.

Do you play Candy Crush Saga on Facebook, or via a mobile device? What about the new Pet Rescue Saga game? Which do you like more?
