With no Candy Crush Saga game for Kindle yet, the popular online game download continues to be a massive hit. The game has actually become so big that it's broken algorithms, as it continues to rake in the cash. It's even led to some of the game players admitting to Candy Crush addiction.

According to NBC Bay Area on Sept. 3, the Facebook game Candy Crush Saga has become such a popular mobile game, that it broke a research firm's growth algorithm. Apparently the market research firm named AppData found that the success of the game was so "meteoric" in nature that it broke the algorithm they created to track it's usage online. Due to the issue, the firm ended up changing their numbers dating all the way back to March, because nobody quite predicted the candy crushing game would get this big.

Reportedly, there's over 132 million users currently playing the Candy Crush game at least once per month, which is up from the 40 million users days ago. A spokesperson for the research firm said of the game, "It's in the stratosphere." That's good news for King.com, the makers of Candy Crush Saga, Pet Rescue Saga and Bubble Witch Saga, among other games. The company is still planning to file an initial public offering for their company stock. Reports from various sources, including E! Online indicate the game brings in almost $900,000 a day thanks to all the in-game purchases available. The website also offers readers the option to fill out a survey and admit to their addiction to the game, if they can.

The Candy Crush Saga game is currently available on Facebook, and various mobile devices including iPads, iPhones, and other tablets or smartphones. As of this report, there is no version of the game on the Kindle Fire HD, but there are Candy Crush guide books at Amazon to help gamers install it on the tablet.
