Is there a Candy Crush Saga game as a Kindle Fire HD download? Right now, the answer is no, but luckily there's a workaround as with most things online. Currently, the Android game has been among the most popular games on the planet, with some saying it is enjoying "Angry Birds" status.

According to a June 6 report from Heavy.com, both Angry Birds Seasons and Candy Crush Saga rank among the top 10 Android games in June or 2013. Other games on the list include Fruit Ninja, Hardest Game Ever 2, Flow Free, and 3D Bowling. The games have been popular for those carrying around Android smartphones or compatible tablets for the past month, and some for many months before that.

With Candy Crush Saga, many people are probably seeing their friends conquer new levels, achieve high scores and send gifts or invites to people on Facebook. It may have become the new "Mafia Wars" or "Farmville" time-consuming game for Facebook users, until the next big thing comes along.

The game can also be played on iPhones, iPads and through the King.com website. However, one frustration for many tablet owners has been there is now download for Candy Crush Saga on the Kindle Fire HD. One site has a workaround to get Candy Crush on Kindle Fire HD, which requirers some side-loading of a third party app on the tablet. That way they can crush all the candy they want, and try to defeat the higher levels as they're on the go.

Candy Crush Saga was developed and created by King.com. The game features players trying to conquer a game board almost similar to Tetris. New fruit pieces drop down once you've matched 3 or more of the same fruit kind in a row. You do so by sliding the fruit over a spot to match with other same fruits. Along the way, there are special boosters, charms and power-ups unlocked via various combinations of special candies or other fruit. The game may be free, but the company makes it's money through in-game purchases, allowing frustrated users to buy extra moves or other gifts to send friends to help them out.

Basically, King.com has a hit on its hands, and many Facebook users have been lured in by the sweet candy. Before you know it, there will be Candy Crush Saga rehab for those addicted gamers.
