February 16, 2012, The Town of Castle Rock released the slate of candidates for April 2012 Town Council election.
In Castle Rock CO, the candidates represent constituents from different area's of town and are listed in their districts below.
District 1 (the western half of The Meadows)
- Paul Donahue
District 2 (Diamond Ridge, Sapphire Pointe and Metzler Ranch)
- Chris Horton
- Brian Logan
- Mark P. Heath
District 4 (Castle North, Castle Highlands, parts of Red Hawk and Craig & Gould’s Addition)
- Langford Jordan
- Chip Wilson
District 6 (Plum Creek and Crystal Valley Ranch)
- Clark Hammelman
The Town of Castle Rock Councilmembers elected will serve four-year terms and will be paid a monthly stipend of $650. This 2012 election is by mail only so please make sure you are registered to vote as soon as possible. Ballots will be mailed to active registered voters in mid-March.
There are no Townwide issues on the ballot, so voters who do not live in one of the districts electing a Council member will not receive a ballot. Voters within this year’s voting districts who do not receive a ballot, or who need their ballot mailed to an address other than the one at which they are registered, should call the Town Clerk’s Office, 303-660-1367. Important Castle Rock CO election-related dates
- March 2 – Last day for write-in candidates to file affidavit of intent to run
- March 5 – Last day to register to vote in the April election
- Mid-March – Ballots will be mailed to registered voters
- April 3, Election Day – All ballots must be submitted by 7 p.m.
