After her spectacular Super Bowl show, Beyonce ran straight into the waiting arms of her husband, rapper Jay-Z, who was waiting for her backstage.

According to Feb. 4 reports by Crushable.com, the Daily Mail and People Magazine, the power couple’s joyous moment was captured on camera and has now taken the Internet by storm.

As Beyonce leapt into Jay-Z’s arms, he enveloped his wife in a passionate, rib-crushing embrace. Hollywood Life and the Belfast Telegraph of Feb 4 report that make-up artist Joanna Simkin took a candid photo of this rarely seen display of affection between the “king and queen of hip-hop” and uploaded it to her Instagram account.

Joanna Simkin took another candid backstage shot of Beyonce and Jay-Z as they raced down a hallway together surrounded by cameramen and their entourage.

In the days leading up to the show, Beyonce teased the public and built up excitement by releasing photos and video clips of her Super Bowl rehearsals showing her army of back-up dancers, her all-female band, and her vocalists hard at work. Social networks were ablaze with praise and congratulations to Beyonce for her electrifying show. The Feb.4 Daily Mail reports that even Michelle Obama, First Lady of the United States got in on the act, tweeting

Beyonce Dazzles Them Then Leaves Them in the Dark

Shortly after the Super Bowl halftime show, the Superdome was inexplicably plunged into darkness which lasted for almost 30 minutes and brought the game to a screeching halt.

Meanwhile, fans joked that Beyonce’s explosive routine knocked the power out.

Jay-Z quickly tweeted his comments on the situation:

"Lights out!!! Any questions??"

This phrase has special significance to the couple because Beyonce silenced ced her critics and shut down the lip-sync controversy by singing the national anthem a cappella at her Super Bowl press conference last week.
