Soulful singer Candice Glover had a successful run during the Hollywood round on "American Idol" Wednesday night.
Pulling inspiration from Christina Aguilera, performing the single "Impossible," Glover impressed the entire panel of judges and fellow contestants.
"I had standing ovations in Charlotte, but I felt like, at any moment, that could change," a humble Glover said before taking the stage.
Showcasing her vocal talent and range, Glover struck a chord with Keith Urban, Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Randy Jackson and even Ryan Seacrest.
"Following that is going to be no easy task," Seacrest said after Glover performed.
Admitting that it's "not an easy decision," Keith Urban debated whether or not Glover, and any of the other girls who performed in her line, would stay in the competition.
"Nobody understands what we endure," Mariah Carey said at one point.
After a few moments of deliberation, the judges decided to keep Candice Glover, sending her to the group round of the competition. After performing "Hit Em Up Style (Oops)," with The Swagettes, Glover survived the group round.
Will she make it through the final solo round?
"American Idol" returns Thursday night at 8 p.m. on FOX.
