The most recent “American Idol” winner, Candice Glover, has anxiously been counting down the days leading up to today, Feb. 18. Glover was eagerly anticipating the release of her debut album, “Music Speaks.” Featured on the album is her debut single, “Cried,” which she has recently performed on “Live with Kelly and Michael” and “The View.” The album went straight to the top of the R&B charts and is currently available in stores and on iTunes.

Glover won Season 12 of “American Idol,” after facing off against fellow competitor, Kree Harrison, during the show’s finale. It was her soulful, boisterous voice and unique song choices and performances that propelled her to the top of last year’s competition. Nearly one year later, her album has finally hit store shelves.

Candice has been very active on her Twitter page all day, retweeting fans sending her compliments about the album and encouraging everyone to get out and buy it.
