Candace Cameron Bure: Encourages wives to be submissive, would play a hooker

Former "Full House" star Candace Cameron Bure has continued to act here and there while being a mother, wife, and spreading the word of God as much as possible. According to the Inquisitr on Jan. 7, 2014, she is also encouraging wives to be submissive to their husbands and has said that she actually "takes joy in serving" her husband due to it being shown that way in the Bible.

She is fully aware that her views may be "old fashioned" to some people, but she enjoys the way she lives her life.

“By respecting my husband, and submitting to him as the authority figure in our family–as he should be–my actions have helped to win him over… submission is not a foul word. I don’t become a slave to my husband’s every demand… Val doesn’t take advantage of me, but rather gains respect for me… This chain of command not only nurtures respect one to another, it also pleases the Lord… ”

Candace Cameron Bure agrees that "marriage is an equal partnership," but believes that the roles of men and women in a marriage are vastly different. Her views are that a "godly wife" must submit to "the authority figure," who is the husband.

This view seems to be working for her as she's been married to Valeri Bure for 17 years and has three children. Now, she is a God-fearing woman and would never do anything to go against the Bible, but she is willing to take on certain roles to teach a lesson.

Recently, she was asked if she would play the acting role of a hooker. Bure agreed to it, but only if it would help others.

"It really depends on the story because I am an actress. I don't want to play myself otherwise I would be a host, so I can't say I would never play a hooker. It would depend on the story. Is there something redeeming about the character or within the story? Is something going to be taught? If the answer is yes, then absolutely I'll play a hooker."
