Knowing she does not have much time left to live, a cancer patient in Fort Collins, Colorado, by the name of Pat Cudd is actively looking for someone to take her dog, Sherlock, as their own upon her death.
Sherlock was rescued by Pat Cudd just four years ago. A Pit Bull, Sherlock could be returned to a shelter and possibly will be if someone does not step forward and help now.
Anyone thinking they can help Pat Cudd by adopting Sherlock, please don't wait as Pat is not sure how long she will be here. It would be best if someone could make arrangements in advance of Pat's death.
The following details are from the Facebook page of Kevin Torres . Torres shared the details about Pat and Sherlock on 9News. Details on his Facebook page list this phone number as the contact for information about adopting Sherlock: 719-406-6744.
Today’s interview was difficult. I met Pat Cudd, a Fort Collins woman who is dying from stage 4 breast cancer. Pat’s time on earth is running thin, but before she goes she has one last wish: She wants someone to adopt her Pit Bull. Pat rescued “Sherlock” four years ago. She could return him to the shelter, but there’s a good chance he would be put down. Pat is hoping someone can give him a good home.
If you think that you or someone you know might be able to help Pat Cudd find a home for Sherlock, please view the information on Saving Sherlock Facebook page. Also, interested readers may want to view Prayers for Pat Cudd and Sherlock on Facebook.
