According to Rogers Sportsnet, the Calgary Flames' five game losing streak came to an end Tuesday night in Montreal.

Former Calgary Flame Rene Bourque scored the overtime winner with 3:45 left in the second period from former Calgary Flame Brandon Prust as the Montreal Canadiens defeated the Calgary Flames 2-0. Quebec native David Desharnais also scored for the Canadiens.

Carey Price made 27 saves meanwhile for the shutout. The shutout for Price might give him a start for Canada against either Austria or Norway in Canada's first two games in the men's hockey tournament of the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi.

The Flames meanwhile will now play two more games before the Olympic break--Thursday against the New York Islanders and Saturday against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Calgary's last loss was January 20 when they lost 3-2 to the San Jose Sharks. Calgary's next home game is not until February 27 when they face the Los Angeles Kings.
