Canadian Olympic champion Alexander Bilodeau of Montreal, Quebec won the silver medal with a score of 25.43 points, with Patrick Deneen of the United States finishing in third place with a score of 23.45 points.
The other Canadian mogulist to be victorious on Saturday was Justine Dufour-Lapointe of Montreal, who won the women's competition with a score of 23.56 points. Hannah Kearney of the United States was second with a score of 23.29 points, followed by Justine's older sister, Chloe Dufour-Lapointe with a score of 22.45 points.
The victories by Kingsbury and Dufour-Lapointe are significant because they come with the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi only one month away.
With the wins, Kingsbury and Justine Dufour-Lapointe move into first place in the World Cup standings. Justine Dufour-Lapointe is tied with Kearney.
