Canadians warn Americans about gun confiscation

This weekend a Canadian news anchor had a chilling report aimed at Americans. He showed great courage and knowledge with regards to gun confiscation/ registration detailing the effort in Canada and how it closely resembles that of the latest draconian laws introduced in the U.S.

Roughly 20 years ago Canada enacted a national gun registry to track the sale and possession of all guns. At the time the detractors said this would lead to confiscation and wouldn't stop gun crime. They were written off as paranoid. The years that followed proved them right. Guns were banned without any process whatsoever. If a bureaucrat thought it looked scary and dangerous, it was illegal. In those cases a person was sent a letter saying they had to turn in their gun ASAP because someone thought it was dangerous.

In 2006, 13 years after the registry and subsequent laws were passed, the crime rate in Canada was 50% higher than the U.S.

In a more recent incident a Canadian man was arrested and his gun taken after he defended his home against 4 masked men attempting to fire bomb his house. They are trying to do the same thing here in the states, make it a crime to adequately defend your family and home. Unless you work for federal or local government, then you can shoot up a truck with a mother and daughter for fun and get away with it.

I don't know what it's like in Canada but here in the states we have a gang problem, especially California. Do you think they will turn in their guns? Do you think they will load 1 bullet at a time? Do you think they will flee because they're scared of being caught with a gun? Do you think will register their guns? Didn't think so.

A well armed and educated public is the pillar of American values. Without it we have nothing.
