According to Hockey Canada, the Canadian men's hockey team for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi was announced on Tuesday.

The 14 forwards are Jamie Benn of the Dallas Stars, Patrice Bergeron of the Boston Bruins, Jeff Carter of the Los Angeles Kings, Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Matt Duchene of the Colorado Avalanche, Ryan Getzlaf of the Anaheim Ducks, Chris Kunitz of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Patrick Marleau of the San Jose Sharks, Rick Nash of the New York Rangers, Corey Perry of the Anaheim Ducks, Patrick Sharp of the Chicago Blackhawks, Steven Stamkos of the Tampa Bay Lightning, John Tavares of the New York Islanders and Jonathan Toews of the Chicago Blackhawks.

The eight defensemen are Jay Bouwmeester of the St. Louis Blues, Drew Doughty of the Los Angeles Kings, Dan Hamhuis of the Vancouver Canucks, Duncan Keith of the Chicago Blackhawks, Alex Pietrangelo of the St. Louis Blues, P.K. Subban of the Montreal Canadiens, Marc-Edouard Vlasic of the San Jose Sharks and Shea Weber of the Nashville Predators.

Finally the three Canadian goalies are Roberto Luongo of the Vancouver Canucks, Carey Price of the Montreal Canadiens and Mike Smith of the Phoenix Coyotes.

Team Canada will play its round robin games at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi on February 13 against Norway, February 14 against Austria and February 16 against Finland.
