Canadian Junior Golf Association hooks up with Core Golf Academy

Core Golf Academy has been named the official sponsor of the Canadian Junior Golf Association’s National Order of Merit for the next three years.

The full-time residential junior golf academy is based in Orlando, FL, and will now have its name attached to one of Canada's most recognizable junior golf order of merits.

The CJGA developed the National Order of Merit to give juniors the chance to evaluate themselves against other juniors across Canada. It is a ranking system that provides points based on different levels of events (Tier 1, Tier 2, etc.). The tiers are based on the size and strength of the field.

In addition, the CJGA National Order of Merit has become a recruiting tool for college coaches and an opportunity for juniors to receive tournament invitations based on their standings throughout the season.

The yearlong race begins next month in British Columbia and concludes with the CJGA World Junior Challenge at Innisbrook Golf Resort in Palm Harbor, FL, in December.
