The fifth annual Charity Golf Tournament Fore CHEO will be held at the Canadian Golf and Country Club on July 19.
The best-ball format event will begin with a shotgun start. Stuntman Stu of radio station MAJIC100 and PA announcer for the Ottawa Senators is onboard as host of the tournament. Players are asked to arrive at 10:30 a.m.
Here are the tournament’s fees for individual players:
- Early Bird Price (Before June 1) - Full Package Ticket: $110, Dinner Only Ticket: $50
- Full Price (After June 1) - Full Package Ticket: $130, Dinner Only Ticket: $55
Funds raised from the Charity Golf Tournament Fore CHEO will be used to support a program called Plan-It Safe.
Program co-ordinator Corrine Langill and her team are dedicated to eliminating preventable childhood injuries in the Ottawa area. Their mission is to increase local capacity, strengthen public policy, ensure effective programming and advocate for the creation of safe environments to reduce the toll injuries take on children and youth in Eastern Ontario.
They work in collaboration with many of the community partners who deliver injury prevention programming. Its core competencies are injury surveillance, research and program evaluation, consultation on program planning, implementation and evaluation, advocacy and professional and public education.
