A reader wants to know if it is ok that she is married, but is friends with a guy.
My answer:
How good is this guy friend and how long have you known him? If you have known him since high school and the relationship has never been more than platonic, it should be ok, as long as your husband doesn't feel threatened. (And if he does, I would wonder why.)
But if this is a guy you just met at the office and suddenly the two of you are hanging out in the break room together, and your husband doesn't have a clue; maybe you need to take a good hard look at this relationship and your marriage.
You also have to ask yourself how you would feel if your husband had a "girl" friend. Marriage is a two-way street. So if you wouldn't be happy in the least with your husban's gal pal, I would ease up on your guy friends, and keep them on the "acquaintance" level.
