Listed as "extremely urgent," Tinkerbelle's life is hanging by a thread at the San Bernardino City Shelter. This one-year-old female blue and white pittie mix has been at the shelter since Jan. 28 and has been available for adoption since Feb. 4, however Tinkerbelle is listed as "rescue only" which means she must be claimed by a reputable animal rescue organization.
Obviously shelter confinement is more stressful for some dogs than others. Although there has been no official assessment of Tinkerbelle, she was noted to have growled which now limits her rescue options.
Still many dogs in desperate fear will growl; it is their only defense against strangers, loud confusing noises, and the unknown.
Please take a few moments and watch the video of this dog. She appears to be extremely depressed and shutting down emotionally. Please click here to view.
Meanwhile, just a few hours remain to find this beautiful young dog a safe haven. This is a dog who truly needs a Valentine's Day miracle.
Please share Tinkerbelle's story with your friends, family, and coworkers. Refer to #A460383 and Kennel 44.
