Audrina Patridge's Audrina on VH1 has anemically low ratings in its' last two airings, and it only got close to a one rating when it debuted over two weeks ago.
It looks like Lauren Conrad's former sidekick may have to rely on one thing that could save Audrina but didn't mention in the premiere, Lauren Conrad.
In all safe assumption, Audrina is in danger of getting cancelled, if it doesn't see an uptick in ratings, despite VH1 stressing that it reached over 1 million combined with original and encore airings at its' premiere.
Factors that caused Audrina to get low numbers are obvious, VH1's had weak ratings for quite sometime, and VH1 made episodes available before they even aired showing what little belief VH1 has in Audrina.
Because VH1's so weak, E! or MTV would've been better homes for Audrina since their ratings are a lot higher, but MTV got juiceheaded & impregnated so MTV passed, and E!'s been Seacrested & Kardashified.
Also, fans of Audrina Patridge and avid reality TV watchers in general are disappointed in Audrina's execution of format and storyline, it's too run-of-the-mill, too contrived, too Kardashian, and it's definitely not The Hills.
Audrina's only saviors in stone, for the show and Audrina's career, is her recent confrontation with Marie Claire Editor Joanna Coles, and Audrina making the Maxim 2011 Hot 100 List once again.
Other saviors highly unlikely are Audrina getting majorly retooled, focusing away from the family and more on Audrinaas a person, Audrina's friends, plus Audrina's adventures & endeavors.
Plus, Audrina can move over to MTV and replace those near-zero rated scripted attempts MTV currently shoulders on Monday Nights, something MTV could've-would've-should've done with Lauren Conrad but passed on that too.
