The 2013 Oscars show is creating a big buzz on the Internet this weekend. One of the biggest questions on the minds of Academy Awards fans on the Internet is whether the awards show will be shown online anywhere and whether any site will be hosting a streaming version of the show.
The answer is no. Last year there was a $29.99 pay per view service, but this year nothing. Usually, bootleg sites pop up providing illegal streams. They stay active until they get shut down. No one will be (legally) showing the Oscar 2013 show online. There will be no legal live stream broadcasts of the 2103 Academy Awards show.

When will the Oscars start?
After a series of pre-Academy Awards shows, the Oscars show itself will begin on Sunday, Feb. 24, at 8:30 p.m. EST, or 5:30 p.m. PST.

The Oscars show will air around the country on ABC stations starting at 8:30 p.m. EST or 5:30 p.m. PST. Check your local listings for the ABC channel in your area. The Oscars show is expected to last at least three hours. But once again, the Oscars will not be shown online.
