The question of the day: Can the Deep Foods Company give us a Chicken Tikka Masala Complete Dinner for 2, straight from the freezer, that gives us the true taste of a meal made fresh at home? The short answser is, in our opinion, yes. But, let's not get ahead of ourselves. First, a little bit about the company.

What we sampled at the Food Products test kitchen was from the Deep category of offered dinners. There are several categories to choose from, giving you a wide range of tastes and styles of food.

From the Deep selection (Stay tuned for more reviews from other Deep Food categories!), we were offered the Chicken Tikka Masala, a complete frozen meal for two people. The meal in a box included Chicken Tikka Masala, Dal Makhani (Lentil Medley), Two Tandoori Naan (Bread) and Four Samosa (Spinach-Paneer).
The meal was creatively seasoned, well thought out and exciting. There was food aplenty, with a bit leftover for lunch the day after. We especially loved the Tandoori Naan and the Samosa. We will definitely look for these meals at our local grocers. We do so much test cooking here, that a quick dinner, not cooked by us, is a welcome and oh, so delicious diversion!
Congratulations, Deep Foods, you have successfully put a meal in the freezer that tastes like homemade.

Being English our favorite food is Indian. I make my own Indian curry every 2 weeks, and make a pot full so we can each it several days.
We do not have this product in our stores in Florida. I check them all out for authentic Indian food.
