Test riding the vert ramp at Camp Woodward Beijing, Neal Hendrix throws in a stalefish.
“Made in China”.
You’ve seen the tag everywhere and, pretty soon, it will go along with Camp Woodward, one of the most renowned trademarks in action sport camps, with four locations in US (California, Colorado, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin).
Woodward Beijing is a $4 million facility currently under construction in the Daxing District of the nation’s capital.
Check the slideshow below for pictures of the new Camp Woodward Beijing
Scheduled to open by Spring 2010, the new camp will be not only a training center for skateboarding, BMX and snowboarding but also offer classes in photography, graphic design, animation, video production, audio recording and English language.

Neal Hendrix
Pro skater and Fuel TV reporter Neal Hendrix deserves credits (and thanks) for these images.
Working at Woodward for many years, Neal became a worldwide frequent flyer and he’ll be in route to China again in a couple of weeks – expect an update on this story.
In the meantime, check out the video below for a tour of the facilities.
