Aaron’s Acres is pleased to announce that its 2014 Summer Registration form is online at www.aaronsacres.org. Everyone involved with our organization is excited to begin planning for camp in all three counties. Please note that our Berks Camp and our Lancaster Camp will be held at new locations. All of the addresses are listed below along with the program dates:

Dates: June 16-27 (Half-day ages 5-21 with an afternoon option for individuals ages
13-21—must attend morning to attend afternoon)
Location: 2055 Fishing Creek Valley Road, Harrisburg PA 17112
Dates: Session 1: June 16-27 (Half-day ages 5-21 with an afternoon option for individuals ages 13-21—must attend morning to attend afternoon)
Session 2: June 30 –July 11 (Half-day ages 5-21)
Location: Manheim Community Pool and Memorial Park, 504 Adele Avenue, Manheim PA 17545
Dates: Session 1: July 7- 18 (Half-day ages 5-21 with an afternoon option for
individuals ages 13-21 –must attend morning to attend afternoon)
Session 2: July 21- Aug 1(Half-day ages 5-21 with an afternoon option for ages
5-21—must attend morning to attend afternoon)
Session 3: Aug 4- 8 (Only for new families ages 5-12—half-day program)
As a result of our being a Waiver Provider, our camp rates will be changing considerably, and they are based on 1:1 or 1:2 staff-to-child ratio. This increase is beyond our control, as we need to follow the regulations set forth by the funding sources (BHDS, SAM and CMU). Funding must be approved prior to the start of camp for a space to be reserved for this coming summer through your respective funding source. You will find a table outlining the costs for the 1:1 or 1:2 ratio on our online registration form.
For self-paying families, the rates are the same as those for families receiving funding from BHDS, CMU, or SAM.
For all families, once we receive your completed application, we will determine your child’s ratio (staff to child ratio being 1:1 or 1:2); the ratio that is set will determine your child’s camp fee for this summer. We will send this information to you. Upon receiving this information, you will need to respond by e-mail to Elaine Burnett, our Program Director, confirming this fee and method of payment. We will not complete your child’s application until we receive this confirmation from you. Deadline to register is March 31, 2014.
At Aaron’s Acres, we have always been committed to providing financial assistance to those families who have needed to explore other payment options. It is our hope to continue to do so for this coming summer. A scholarship request form needs to be completed along with the camp application form. The deadline for the scholarship request is April 15, 2014. Aaron’s Acres requires a $30.00 nonrefundable application fee per family, which is in addition to the camp fees.
