The Texas Military Forces put on their annual open house this last weekend, which feature the American Heroes Air Show.

The Texas Military Forces Open House featuring the American Heroes Air Show is an opportunity to thank Texans for their continued support as their loved ones, employees, friends, and residents serve and have served at home and abroad.

The free two-day event included an Air Show, opening ceremony, the Traveling Vietnam Wall, Naturalization ceremony for members of all military branches, World War II reenactments, K-9 search and rescue demonstrations, as well as many other events. This year the Missing in America Project held a special memorial service for 12 unclaimed Central Texas Veterans. Helicopters were also on hand from Law Enforcement, Public Safety, Urban Search and Rescue, and National Guard to demonstrate the capabilities that they bring to the State of Texas.
