Camila Alves and her two children have been spotted all over Manhattan this past week! The mom of three brought four-year-old son, Levi, and three-year-old daughter, Vida, along with her on a weeklong press tour.
Despite giving birth to her youngest son Livingston just three months ago, the 31-year-old former Brazilian model trotted around Manhattan looking fabulous in her skinny jeans and designer jackets.
Alves makes juggling two tots around NYC look easy, but she has recently admitted to having suffered "serious complications" from her last pregnancy and that she is still dealing with recovery.
"This time around it has been a really tough recovery," Alves revealed on The View while in New York. "Throughout the whole pregnancy I had really strong pains and I kept telling the doctors. We kept trying to figure out what it was, what was happening. Nobody could figure out what it was."
When Alves went into labor, they decided a Cesarean-section would be the best option.
"So, we ended up having to do a C-section," Alves continued. "I told the doctor right before, once I'm there, just take a look because I know something's wrong. They ended up finding all kinds of things in there that we had to take care of."
Despite her difficult pregnancy, and being unable to pick up her children, Alves was determined to have a little fun while in the Big Apple. The family was even spotted building bears at Manhattan's Build-A-Bear workshop.
The trio was spotted again this weekend at LaGuardia Airport heading back to California and home to husband Matthew McConaughey. Although the two have only been married since June, they've been together for six years. Alves told Britain's OK! that it feels like they've been married forever.
'It's like we've been married for so long," Alves told the magazine. "When you've been together so long and then get married, something inside of you changes.I can't tell you what exactly it is but it's for your kids, it's all one thing."
