From August 2-7, Portlanders will have their chance to see the new production of Boublil & Schönberg’s magnificent Les Misérables at Keller Auditorium. The Broadway Across America website states this production contains "glorious new staging and dazzlingly reimagined scenery inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo. This new production has been acclaimed by critics, fans and new audiences and is breaking box office records wherever it goes."
This tour of Les Mis has been hailed the New York Times and the Star Ledger, with the London Times saying its"a five star hit, astonishingly powerful and as good as the original.”
