On Monday, July 14, 2014, Examiner.com was on the red carpet for a special screening of Columbia Pictures' latest film "Sex Tape" which will hit theaters this Friday, July 18. Cast Cameron Diaz, Jason Segel, Giselle Eisenberg, Sebastian Hedges, and director Jake Kasdan all attended the event at Regal Union Square.

When we asked Jake to reflect on reuniting with Diaz, he told us exclusively, "I had had one of the great experiences I had ever had working - making 'Bad Teacher' with her. I think she is brilliantly funny, she's got the best conceivable attitude about the work. She's incredibly generous with everybody and very giving with everyone creatively and behind the scenes and I couldn't have been more eager to do it again."

We spoke with Sebastian Thomas who plays Clive in the film - the on-screen son of Annie (Diaz) and Jay (Segel).

What was the casting process like?

That was cool. I remember I did the presentation scene for the audition.

What was it like working with Cameron and Jason?

They were great. Both of them. They were so funny and amazing and social.

What was your favorite scene?

I remember filming the warehouse scene. That was really fun to film.

What other projects can you share?

I was just in "Kinky Boots" on Broadway. I left it to go to football camp. That was amazing. That was so fun. I played a young version of Charlie.

The adorable Giselle Eisenberg also spoke with us about the film.

Tell us about your character?

I play Nell - Cameron Diaz's and Jason Segel's daughter. They were very fun parents and I think that anyone would be very happy to work with them. It's a movie about a movie that the parents don't want anybody to see or else they'd be really embarrassed.

Did you do anything fun with Cameron on set?

We would play.

Tell me about working with Jake Kasdan.

He was very nice and there was a scene where we broke into a warehouse and there were rubber bats and a real metal crowbar. Everyone got rubber bats and I got the real metal crowbar, which was kind of funny because I'm the youngest.

What's next for you?

I just did a commercial for cat food.

How did you know you wanted to be an actress?

Well, my sister started everything and then I decided that I wanted to do it, too and my mom wasn't sure and she told me about what it really involves and I didn't back away, so that's actually how I got into everything.

Designer Stacey Bendet hung out with Cameron Diaz in the lobby of the theater catching up. She told us she is very excited for her Alice + Olivia Spring 2015 Collection. She has also been vacationing in Malibu. "We have a house there and it's just heaven for the kids, relaxing."

We also spoke with Nicky Hilton who said that her sister Paris' new video for "Come Alive" is "pretty incredible." She added, "I have my first book coming out this fall, it's a fashion guide full of tips, tricks, funny anecdotes and just what I learned along the way in the fashion world."

After the screening, attendees headed to The Brickwood for a fun after-party. Guests enjoyed Svedka cocktails, Red Bull and light bites. DJ Jonny had everyone dancing. We spotted Judd Apatow, Art and Kim Garfunkel, Estelle, DJ Kiss, Mickey Sumner, Nicky Hilton, Katrina Bowden, Zosia Mamet, Terry George, Ira Glass, Ben Platt, Nikki M. James, Andy Mientus, Lena Hall, Hannibal Burress, Rachel Antonoff, Stacey Bendet, Grizz Chapman, Nev Schulman, Amy Heckerling, Billy Eichner, Britne Oldford and Julie Henderson at the event.
