What makes Cameron Diaz excited about her life? It's not her newest role as an actress or even a new relationship. Instead, it's her new nutrition book describing her diet of whole, unprocessed foods and fitness secrets to help others become "happier, healthier, and stronger," reported the Huffington Post on Dec. 13.

After battling her own body image concerns and trying to determine the best diet and fitness program for her health, Cameron hopes that her book can serve as a guide for both girls and women. Scheduled to be published just in time for fulfilling those New Year's Resolutions on Dec. 31, it's entitled "The Body Book: The Law of Hunger, the Science of Strength, and Other Ways to Love Your Amazing Body" (click for more information).

And Cameron isn't shy about encouraging others to get her book.

"One of my proudest moments! Receiving the first bound copy of The Body Book!! @thebodybook LADIES!! I wrote this book for YOU and YOUR BODY.. And I'm so excited to share it with you!! You can pre-order it now. #loveyouramazingbody," she posted on Instagram.

Although the book is designed to focus on health, Cameron explained that it's not designed as a weight loss guide. Instead, she wants to take the spotlight off achieving a size zero and encourage girls and women to emphasize health.

"She wants to stop their fixation on being thin, and for teenage girls to understand that being healthy is more important," a publishing source explained.

Cameron sees herself as a role model and wants to use that power to make a difference.

"She wants to use her celebrity to make a difference. She knows she is a role model to girls and she really wants to use that position to do good. This book is not about weight, it's about making the right choices," added the source.

Included in the book are tips for using nutrient-dense, whole unprocessed foods to satisfy hunger. In addition, Cameron explores the role that exercise plays in a healthy lifestyle and the mind-body connection.
