Cameron Diaz has gone from actress to designer and now author with her upcoming book aptly titled The Body Book. The debut healthy lifestyle book will be available on December 31, 2013. Not to be confused with being a celebrity diet and exercise book, The Body Book is a healthy lifestyle guide aimed at young women. Diaz focuses on recognizing real hunger and how nutrition dense foods play a role in achieving and maintaining health. The Body Book is a designed to inform readers on how to make the kind of changes to their eating habits that last a lifetime.
One feature that sets this book apart is the emphasis on hunger. Diaz advocates that hunger be regarded as the body's natural signal for fuel. She writes that the choice to pay attention to hunger and satiating it with nutritious foods is a key step in fortifying health.
Diaz also describes the role of exercise in building up just not a fit body but also a positive mood. The actress then includes recommendations on how to select the right fitness program and workout strategies to increase vitality and decrease risk for disease.
