The Camelot Theatres is presenting a summer series called Dinner and a Movie. This Saturday, July 26 the theater will show the revival screening of the Dustin Hoffman film "Tootsie." This is an excellent way to catch all your classic blockbuster movies digitally re-mastered on the valley's widest movie screen at the Camelot Theatres in Palm Springs.
Every Saturday night this summer, RR Broadcasting and MIX 100.5 FM present Dinner and a Movie sponsored by HelioPower Solar.
"Tootsie" was a smash hit in 1982, was nominated for 10 Academy Awards and won an Oscar for actress Jessica Lange. In a clip for AFI, Hoffman said of his work in "Tootsie," as he started to tear up, "I thought I that when I was (dressed as Dorothy) I was an interesting looking woman. And there is too many interesting women I have not gotten to know in life because of the brainwashing I received when I was younger. 'Tootsie' was never a comedy for me."
The Camelot Cafe opens at 7pm with Happy Hour Prices at the bar, including $6 Margaritas, the regular Happy Hour Menu and a special $15 Prix Fixe menu (designed around the theme of each week's movie).
