The 2014 study, which considered 2011 models, confirms what most of the public already knows: the newest Camaro is by far the best of the breed.

In contrast to past generations that were fraught with mechanical problems and poor reliability, the latest F-body pony car is a breath of fresh air. The Camaro has sold well in its class versus the likes of the Ford Mustang and Dodge Challenger.

In recent years Chevrolet has successfully revitalized its dealerships with models that are far exceeding expectations. Today, Chevy fields a lineup that has come a long ways in terms of quality control and reliability. The Cruze has consistently been one of the best selling compact cars in its class. The midsize Malibu has fared well in its segment, too. The all-new 2014 Impala has further bolstered Chevrolet’s standings and reinforced the notion that Detroit, most notably GM, can build quality vehicles.

For Camaro, other recent awards include:
Consumers Digest Best Buy rating (Sporty Car category 2012; also 2010 and 2011)
Kelly Blue Book’s Best Resale Value Award (Camaro SS model for 2014)

The 2014 Camaro has been revised with new front and rear styling, which has garnered favorable reviews.
