Calvin Klein sent his fall/winter 2012/2013 menswear collection down the Milan Fashion Week runway today and gave men classic colors, roomy silhouettes and exotic skinned backpacks. Calvin Klein’s overall collection was less dark than that of other designer collections shown during the fall 2012 menswear fashion week in Milan thus far; giving men a neutral option to basic black.
Calvin Klein showed a classic collection which was mostly camel or tan and black. There were mid-length coats, capes and one strap backpacks in exotic skins. The backpacks are new to the Milan menswear fall 2012 runways. While other designers sent clutches, weekender totes and tote bags down their menswear runways, Calvin Klein introduced a sleek, one strap backpack to men for fall 2012 which offered a fresh take on a classic type of handbag.
Calvin Klein’s backpacks were shown in exotic crocodile in both tan and black with one strap which was thick for added comfort. The backpacks offered two handles in addition to the shoulder strap which would allow the bag to convert to a north/south or east/west tote bag. There was one handle on the top and one on the side for easy conversion. Calvin Klein also gave his fall 2012 backpacks a front zipper pocket which was discreet yet user-friendly.
