Calm before the storm, cold

Miami Valley , Whitewater Valley, and the I-71 corridor of Ohio/Indiana:

Winter Storm Warning for tomorrow night through Wednesday morning.....
The Current forecast track is for the low to track just West of the Appalachian mountains weakening as it goes into West Virginia and then transferring its energy to a low off the coast of Virginia. Initially some warm aloft (Over our heads) will accompany the storm Tuesday evening allowing for freezing rain/sleet to mix in with snow before midnight tomorrow night, as the low weakens colder air will filter in aloft changing precipitation to snow after midnight Tuesday night and lasting through Wednesday am. This would put moderate accumulations of snow and some ice accumulations across the I-71 corridor and mainly rain SE of the I-71 corridor. Areas well NW of the I-71 corridor may stay all snow with significant accumulations likely. This means snowfall amounts of 6 to 10 inches will be common NW of I-71 with 4 to 9 inches along I-71. SE of I-71 accumulations will significantly drop off to nothing in South central Ohio. Ice accumulations of 0.1 to 0.2 of an inch could be also possible along the I-71 corridor. Near a half an inch of ice could be possible further SE. Stay tuned for further details.

Behind this storm very cold air will return to the region with another brief high pressure building in. Another low pressure may effect the region over the weekend.
