The theme is Party Like A Sailor” (i.e.Popeye) but you can get gussied up with the black tie optional and come dance the night away to That’s What She Said and DJ Don Koenig. Be Fred Astaire and bring your Ginger Rogers – “put on your top hat, tie up your white tie and brush off your tails.”
Presented by the Fell’s Point Residents Association the annual Harbor Ball honors those who fought highways that would have destroyed our historic neighborhood of Fells Point. Harbor Ball and the Fells Point Festival keep this historic neighbor alive. Proceeds from Harbor Ball 2011 will go to replace or repair windows for 1732 Thames Street, a historic property in Fell's Point.
Fells Point restaurateur and award winning Chef Nancy Longo of Pierpoint Restaurant will again be in the galley cooking up a great menu for the crew.
So come on board, they promise they won’t make you walk the plank although they might ask you to share some coin at there well stocked silent auction.
