Ah amore…it seems everywhere you look this week, its being displayed. It’s only natural with Valentine’s Day just around the corner. What to get that special someone? Some think candy, some think flowers, but why not woo them in a romantic gesture and get some cardio while you’re at it?
The international dance club is holding their “Sweetheart Dance” this Saturday, February 11th. Be entertained by the John Turner Trio band as you romance the one you love by showing them your best moves. From the smooth techniques of ballroom, to heating up the floor with those latin steps, the international dance club has it all, even including dance lessons the first and third Thursday night of the month from experience dance instructors.
Pull out your best Fred Astaire and Ginger Rodgers moment as well by dressing up in that “classy attire” (accompanied by a fresh flower corsage if pre-ordered). The dance begins at 7:30pm and lasts til 11pm. The cost is $7 for members of the club, and $9 for non-members. For more information, please call 719-633-0195 or visit the international dance club site.
This Valentine’s Day, why not start a new tradition by getting your groove on with the one you love. It might just ignite a new fire in your life, and put cupid’s beat in your step.
