Arvind Bhatia has provided some insight in regards to the sales potential of the upcoming multiplatform title, “GTA 5.” The analyst at Sterne Agee told GamesIndustry International on Feb. 1 that the latest video game in the “Grand Theft Auto” series will end up selling 18 million units this year. He predicts that it will be the second best-selling title behind “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.” You can check out some screens from “GTA 5” in the slideshow at the top of this article.

The official release date was recently announced for “GTA 5.” The open-world action-adventure video game, which is being developed by Rockstar North and will be published by Rockstar Games, will be released for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in North America on Sept. 17.
