Activision opened a website Monday teasing Call of Duty: Ghosts with an image meant to be unlocked by fans linking their Twitter or Facebook accounts to open up an obscured picture. However, it was pretty easy to skip the wait and look at the site's source code to reveal both the hidden picture and a tagline.
The Call of Duty: Ghosts image that is eventually revealed is labeled as a "feather mask" with the call out "The Ghosts Are Real."
This is all leading to an expected announcement of Call of Duty: Ghosts this week by Wednesday, May 1. If things work as they have in the past, a trailer for the game could debut during the NBA Playoffs that night.
Leaks for Call of Duty: Ghosts so far indicate that the game will arrive Nov. 5, 2013 for the PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U. Even the next-gen consoles PS4 and next Xbox (aka Xbox 720) appear to assuredly be in the mix.
