Sony Computer Entertainment has revealed that the Playstation Store is now taking pre-orders for the season pass for the Playstation 3 version of the upcoming multiplatform video game, “Call of Duty: Ghosts.” According to a post from the official United States Playstation Blog on Sept. 10, the company disclosed that the downloadable content bundle has a certain restriction in regards to being able to transfer the maps from the current-generation console to the next-generation system and vice verse.
The season pass DLC can only be transferable if it is bought and activated by May 31, 2014. The post also mentioned that the release dates for the product may be different between the two platforms. Season Pass includes access to all Season Pass DLC on both the PS3 system and PS4 system if purchased and activated by 5/31/2014. Release dates may vary by platform.
The season pass DLC has an official price tag of $49.99 on the Playstation Store. Sony Computer Entertainment has also made the regular and digital hardened edition of “Call of Duty: Ghosts” available for pre-order.
The latest “Call of Duty” installment is being released for the Nintendo Wii U, PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in addition to the aforementioned PS3 and PS4. The video game is being developed mainly at Infinity Ward while Activision will be the company responsible for publishing the title.
