New details have been revealed in regards to the “Call of Duty ID” feature in the upcoming multiplatform video game, “Call of Duty: Ghosts.” According to a report by VG247 on Oct. 2, Tina Palacios revealed that the online save file will allow players to store their customized soldiers on the cloud servers.
As a result, you can transfer all of your stats and progress from the current-generation version of “Call of Duty: Ghosts” to the next-generation iteration. One example that was provided by Tina Palacios involves an individual playing the first-person shooting video game on the PS3. Using the “Call of Duty ID” feature, he can play on his friend’s PS4 with the same customized soldier and then back on his PS3. He will be able to save his progress each time using the cloud storage.
“Call of Duty: Ghosts” is one of several games that will be released as a cross-generation title. The latest “Call of Duty” title is coming to the Nintendo Wii U, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms on Nov. 5. Players that purchase the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions are allowed to upgrade to the PS4 and Xbox One iterations with a one time fee of $9.99.
